    The initial training
    • To compile a situational analysis of initial training in tourism in Pays de la Loire (all levels) and superior training (Licence, Master, and Doctor) in the COMUE Bretagne Loire and the Grand West.
    • To establish a summary note about the innovative education implemented in France, and to identify the remarkable experiences which can be used as a pattern.
    • To identify potential needs in new initial training, and to ensure the montage of these trainings (if necessary) in terms of construction of an integrated training offer from CAP to Doctor.
    • To suggest, and to implement the experimental projects in terms of innovative education (e-learning, etc.).

     

    The continued training
    • To compile a situational analysis of continued training in tourism in Pays de la Loire (all levels), the qualified continued training in the western France and the qualified continued training for the managers in tourism in France.
    • To accomplish a summary of alternating training in tourism in the whole country, and to identify the remarkable initiatives.
    • To identify the needs in terms of continued training that should be implemented for the professionals.
    • To steer the construction of identified projects with the interested socio-economic partners, in the engineering of training as well as in their commercialization.
    • To steer the opening of the alternating Licence 3, Licence Professionnelle, and Master.

    The ambitions of Training section


    Form a pool of professionals meeting the requirements of enterprises and research thanks to:
    • A strong multidisciplinarity, an international opening (joint master Erasmus+, Summer School …)
    • The innovative educational methods (e-learning, applied projects of studies),
    • The strong links with the enterprises and the national, regional destinations.

    The expected result is the creation of a path of training from DAP to Doctor, with an ambition to be a national leader, structured around the professions of 3 main sections:

    • Hotel / Restaurant / MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Congress and Events)
    • Tourism and leisure
    • Economic and touristic valuation of culture and heritage

    In support of UFR ESTHUA Tourism and Culture for their superior trainings, and of CCI.R in Pays de la Loire for their professional trainings.
